ReOrganization of areas of Studio... LOVE IKEA!!!

So I hit Ikea this weekend and purchased a few things to make my life much easier...

Some photos to share.

I have a target cabinet organizer that I have all my mixed media products on - and I love it because I can see all the way back.

I have double tongue & Grove tape where I hang the distress inks from Ranger.

I also included the Dignitet Curtain Wire with Clips  $12.99

 And then my love of my love...

Raskog kitchen cart I got it in Blue

$49.99 

I can't get over how much fits into this cart.

I'm going to go back and get another one for all the mixed media products

It frees up so much space 

I have boxes of other things that I can't ever see because they are in boxes

This would get it out so I can see it...

Below is from Ikea it's a Letter Tray White - by Kvissle $19.99

I am missing 1 tray so I could put all of my Inks with the top on it it wouldn't fit - but I can pull the tray out to get them all.

I then got the Bygel Rail $2.99

and got the Bygel Containers each $0.99

I put different things inside the containers - and all those little things that I can never find mostly..

Washi Tape Storage - Check it out...

So here's a box of my favorite wash tape supplies.... Not all of them - because I have alot that are "holiday themed"

I have been keeping them in a target box - but again always having to dig then out...  Because I always wanted one that was on the bottom.

So I found this cute dress form at Michaels - using my 40% coupon I got it for $7.00..  Then I got pins

And then I put on my best tapes that I use all the time.  This is a small dress form - so of course they don't all fit - but I just love it...   I'll be looking for a bigger one.

Organizing Mixed Media Supplies.... What to do.... well how about this???

So I have all these Golden and other type of Mixed Media Supplies.

I had them in a box - but it was so hard to get what I wanted from the box without always having to go to the bottom.

I was walking around target last night - and saw this spice rack organizer - and it was on clearance for $8.72....  So I got it...

Original I was thinking all my powers or inks - but this one was much better for the Mixed Media Supplies.

I was able to put all of my supplies and more on it... I love it so much I'm going back today to get more.

Very excited today... Have done the 1st state of the redo in my scrap room/ Art Studio..

Moved the space over to another wall.   Went to home depot and got a 5x8 piece of plywood cut in half... (perfect size).

Here's another close up shot...  Everything was taken off the wall - I had a bunch of stickers (foam) I got off nice and smooth..

Pulled the LIME GREEN PAINT OUT.

Desk is painted... and stuff started to get moved over.

Used the cube storage and put the table on top...  Getting all that organized is for another day.

Got the shelves put up - as well as the Wall to hang additional items from.

 

Used velco and hung up a bunch of supplies.

And here's the final set up....  Alot of Green - and I just love it.

This will be an on going project - but much happier when I get everything in

in it's place...

New Storage Find for all of my Supplies... LOVE IT

So went to Home Goods today and found some great new supply organizers.

Plus this one was in the clearance got it for $4.99

Look how great it holds all my sprays...

Phase 2 of Artists Studio/Scrapbooking Room - Mixed Media

So here is the newest pictures of my on going ever changing scrap/Artist studio Room... Space

I have been taking over the Basement Family room.

 So below is my new look at the desk area...

I have 4 large shelves

(Stocked with stash)...

Alot of velco where I have inks, markers and glitter attached to metal trays and hanging in handy places.

I have all of my art textured supplies in 1 basket...  easily at my hands.

I have a bunch of the clear paint tins that I have paint brushes, markets, glues etc...

(needs to be organized much better - but it's getting closer.

The above desk is made with 1 large piece of plywood that I cut, stained and put on top of 3 Target Cube Storage Units. 

I got the square storage units at either staples or Home depot whenever they were on savings.

Above is another view of my desk... The back wall is going to get the next Phase 3 transition.

It has alot of my art work on it - and I got these boards that you can hang stuf off - but I have to get them mounted...  I am also going to be making some storage units for Stamps, Inks, Paints so I can see them better... But that's coming.

So this area is new.. I have been slowly taking over the basement - give me another 3 months and the whole area will be mind...  

This is a large fold out table - that I have tons of storage under neath it.

I also keep my larger canvases there...

My Criqit is on the table... Lots of storage boxes... Paint tots.... And then all the completed canvases....

I just love the space...

Scrapbook Room/ Art Studio - Tin Can Organizer

So another Pin I saw on Pinterest was putting together tin cans - different sizes and making an organization group...

This was a bit of work but I loved how it came out.

I used 6 Tin cans when it was done.

All different sizes.

Gorilla Glue to hold them together - and boy does it work...

I used binder clips while it was drying to hold them together.

 decorated them with scrapbook paper and ribbons.

Scrapbook Room/ Artist Corner - Phase 2

So I have been making my room - more organized... and bigger...  I need to take the most current photos and upload them - but since I just created the blog.. I'm catching up over the last 6 months.. Was doing alot of Facebook...  or Pinterest

Put up boards - but haven't hung anything yet.  And now I have canvases all over that part.

My amazing shelving - which now goes from end to end... 

All the storage on the desk...

Organizer

Family Command Center Project

So another inspiration idea from Pinterest....

I decided to put together a family command center - with storage cubes (Mostly because I'm so tired of all the shoes all over the floor ( i trip over all of them)...   And bags - stuff etc... So I made this geared to having 1 cube for everyone in the family - including the dogs...

Got the wooden boxes from Michaels - I used the 40% off coupon went in 1 every day so by the weekend I was ready to go....   

Then I painted them with Liquitex Spray Paint - I love love love this paint...  It goes on so smooth - and covers really well..  I also got it when it was on sale at Michaels.

Then I mounted them on the wall.   Top cubes are for me and my husband.

Middle 2 are for my daughter and son.

Bottom 2 are for my other son - and the dogs....

Shoes fit perfect..  Pocket books - books - school supplies - dog coats...

Then - I put the bulletin board - and canvas organizers - and metal paper sorters - and this is all next to the door so everyone sees it...  This has worked amazing.
